Seth Rogen is set to reunite with The Backstreet Boys for a TV holiday special that premieres December 14 on ABC and features several special guests.
Seth Rogen will narrate A Very Backstreet Holiday for ABC, reuniting with The Backstreet Boys. Rogen recently starred in Steven Spielberg's The Fablemans and is involved with several projects. Between his rumored roles and films currently in production, he's now linked to a handful of movies. On the television side, for Apple TV+, Rogen will reunite with Neighbors co-star Rose Bryne in Platonic.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY But, as reported by Variety, Rogen will add a bit of Christmas cheer as the narrator of A Very Backstreet Holiday. Set for a December 14 debut on ABC, the TV special will include appearances by Ron Funches, Meghan Trainor, Rob Riggle, Nikki Glaser, and Atsuko Okatsuka.
Seth Rogen's Previous Holiday Movie Experience In 2015, Rogen starred in The Night Before alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anthony Mackie. The film, directed by Jonathan Levine, is pitched as a Christmas movie featuring three stoners. The story begins with Santa narrating the story of Isaac and Chris , two friends that have a long tradition of partying with their friend Ethan each Christmas after his parents died. The movie, like This Is The End, includes a bevy of cameos.
For those hoping their holiday viewing comes with a dose of Seth Rogen, there are a few options to choose from. This Is The End, as absurd as it is, has an element of festiveness to it as well. A Very Backstreet Holiday looks to be more traditional. But considering the choice of narrator and the guests, it will undoubtedly be an entertaining watch when it rolls around in just a matter of days.
