KOTA KINABALU: Sabah ’s power grid is expected to be stabilised further following the recent granting of approval to install a gas-powered generator plant, says Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd .
He said in a statement on Tuesday that SESB received their Letter of Notification from the Energy Commission of Sabah to start the supply and installation of turbine gas generators with a 94MW capacity. “This is part of the short term initiatives that have to be taken according to the Supply Development Plan which has been approved by the Sabah Energy Council,” he said.
