Harrisburg authorities are investigating two shootings and a pistol-whipping that occurred since Friday.

The first incident, according to city communications direct Matt Maisel, occurred Friday when Demone Maxwell, age 25, was shot in the shoulder near 4th and McKay streets. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and no arrests have yet been made. Around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, a shooting at the Community Drive Projects claimed two victims, according to Maisel. A man in his 40s is in critical but stable condition, and a woman in her 20s is in fair condition and stable, according to Maisel.
