PHNOM PENH: Tissue samples from a male elephant weighing approximately three tonnes, found dead in a B-52 bomb crater in Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary in Mondulkiri province, were taken to Phnom Penh for further analysis on Monday (Oct 7) to determine the exact cause of death.

SHAH ALAM: A senior officer and three police personnel have been transferred immediately for partying at the Criminal Investigation Department of a district police headquarters.

Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said checks revealed that a corporal made merry with four members of the public - three women and a man - in the room during the incident on Sept 28."It is an offence to bring members of the public into office premises without any official reasons," he told a press conference at the Selangor police headquarters on Monday ."We took stern action in transferring the police personnel immediately.

"Three other policemen - a senior officer and two personnel - have been transferred to Johor and Kelantan," he said.
