Calgary police say a senior was sent to hospital in life-threatening condition after she was run over by her own vehicle in the community of Deer Run.

“An elderly woman got out to inspect the damage and unfortunately she was struck by her own vehicle,” says Harris. “I looked to my right and this rolling vehicle was coming up the lot and I had to push my cart away and jump out of the way,” said Fedyna. “We ran out to the cry and unfortunately there was a terrible accident.She says the injured woman told her she thought the vehicle was in park and “then it wasn’t and it ran over her.”The Calgary Police Traffic Reconstruction Unit is investigating after a Calgary woman was sent to hospital after witnesses say she was run over by her own vehicle.
