The footage, taken on Saturday morning (January 25) around 1:49 AM, shows the elderly woman being approached by the group of stray dogs .
Superintendent Sabarudin Rahmat, the Kunak Chief Police, confirmed that PDRM received a report about the discovery of her body around 6:30 AM on the same day. The victim was found deceased, stripped of all her clothing, as reported by Utusan Borneo. The extent of the attack is evident in the gruesome details shared by Sabarudin. He revealed that the victim's body bore bite marks on her left hand, head, right chest, legs, and both sides of her waist. Adding to the mystery surrounding the incident, PDRM suspects that the victim was not a local resident as no form of identification was found on her person. The body was subsequently transported to Hospital Tawau, and the police have classified the case as a sudden death.The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, raising concerns about the safety of individuals, particularly vulnerable groups, in public spaces.
