Senate President Juan Miguel "Migz" Zubiri and House Speaker Martin Romualdez met on Monday, July 3 to discuss the priority bills to be passed in the coming Second Regular Session of the 19th Congress.

Senate President Pro Tempore Loren Legarda, Senator Juan Edgardo ‘’Sonny’’ M. Angara, chairman of the Senate finance committee; and House Majority Leader Mannix Dalipe also attended the meeting held at the Manila Golf Club in Makati city on Monday afternoon. According to Zubiri, these bills are already included in the Legislative Executive Development Authority Council priorities.

The proposed bills seeks to introduce innovative approaches that could balance economic growth with environmental protection, and ensure the long-term sustainability of the Philippine's ecosystems.
