The public is advised not to be alarmed as the exercise is a simulation aimed at assessing and enhancing the effectiveness of the Airport Emergency Plan (AEP). The simulation involved an aircraft experiencing technical problems, resulting in it veering off the runway with a high impact, crashing during landing, catching fire, and finally coming to a stop at the cargo apron edge.
