Kok berharap China akan membuat lebih banyak komitmen membeli komoditi Malaysia susulan penyambungan ECRL.

PUTRAJAYA: Menteri Industri Utama Teresa Kok berharap Perdana Menteri, Dr Mahathir Mohamad dapat menyuarakan isu export minyak sawit Malaysia ke China pada Sidang Kemuncak “One Belt One Road” di negara itu pada hujung bulan ini.

Bagaimanapun, Daim berkata perbincangan bersama China itu hanya berkisar mengenai ECRL dan tidak menyentuh perkara lain termasuk isu minyak sawit. “Kita juga berharap mereka boleh menggunakan kayu Malaysia, dan lebih banyak kontraktor tempatan boleh diambil bagi projek ini,” katanya.
