SHAH ALAM, June 3 — The re-gazetting process of Kuala Langat North Forest Reserve spanning an area of 536.7 hectares, which was previously de-gazetted in 2021, has been finalised during the state government meeting , two weeks ago.
“The total forest area is still the same as before. Implementation will be done by the JPNS,” he said when asked to comment on the matter. The de-gazetting of HSKLU was announced by the state Tourism, Environment, Green Technology and Orang Asli Affairs Committee chairman Hee Loy Sian at the State Legislative Assembly sitting on Aug 30, 2021, approved under Section 12, Selangor Forestry Act Enactment 1985.
