The Selangor State Government on Tuesday received its first ‘jetpatcher’ machine worth RM1 million procured from the UK that will be used to expedite road repair works in the state.
The ceremony was officiated by Ir. Izham Hashim, the Selangor State Government Executive Councillor for Infrastructure and Agriculture, who also took to his own Facebook page to laud the Jetpacher machine. In addition, the Jetpatcher saves time and energy and can be operated in any weather condition. The Jetpacher is environmentally friendly too as it has low carbon emissions, which Izham said is in line with Selangor’s sustainable development goals.According to the official Selangor State Government media Selangor Journal, the RM1 million Jetpacher machine can patch a pothole in just 15 minutes compared to over 1 hour needed using conventional methods.
