PETALING JAYA: Some 39 accident"black spots" have been identified in Selangor in conjunction with Ops Selamat held during the festive season.
Among the black spots identified are Jalan Sungai Buloh-Kuala Selangor, Jalan Kuala Lumpur-Seremban, Grand Saga Highway, Jalan Subang, Jalan Salak-Sepang, Jalan Meru, MRR2, Jalan KL-Ipoh, Jalan Serdang Raya and Jalan Klang-Teluk Intan."Safety should always be the priority.Ops Selamat will be held from April 29 until May 8. Its main objective is to minimise accidents, especially fatal ones and prevent house break-ins.
"The public can inform the police by contacting nearby police stations or the operations room of district police headquarters, downloading the balik kampung form via the link http://rmp.gov.my or through the Volunteer Smartphone Patrol application.Comm Arjunaidi said the police also forged strategic cooperation with petrol station operators since 2013 through the “Go-To-Safety-Point” programme.
