The Selangor State Legislative Assembly (DUN) will resume its session next week, with questions regarding the progress of the Faisal Halim assault case expected to be raised again. Exco for Youth, Sports, and Entrepreneurship, Mohd. Najwan Halimi, said the state government hopes the police investigation into the acid attack continues, although the latest development sees the case taken over by a special task force from the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department. He expects further motions and questions concerning the case during the resumed DUN session.
SHAH ALAM: Perkembangan kes pemain Selangor FC, Faisal Halim antara pertanyaan bakal dibangkitkan semula pada persidangan Dewan Undangan Negeri Selangor yang akan bersidang bermula minggu depan.
“Justeru, kita harap kes itu terus disiasat polis dan menerima laporan hasil siasatan mengenainya kelak. Utusan Malaysia pada November tahun lalu melaporkan Polis Diraja Malaysia diminta mendedahkan perkembangan terkini termasuk dalang kes serangan asid terhadap pemain kebangsaan itu. Pejabat DUN Selangor kemudian menerima maklum balas daripada Ketua Polis Selangor, Datuk Hussein Omar Khan berhubung usul 17 Peraturan-Peraturan Tetap DUN Selangor.
