The University of Oklahoma students and staff received a letter Tuesday saying they will no longer be allowed to access the social media app TikTok on campus.

The TikTok accounts belonging to and administered by the University of Oklahoma will also be deleted.

Stitt’s executive order cited “ongoing national and cybersecurity concerns with the TikTok application.”We will not participate in helping the Chinese Communist Party gain access to government information.
