A security officer at a Dallas strip club fatally shot a woman who drove her car into a crowd Saturday, according to reports from police and the club, XTC Cabaret. The club said the security officer had been run over and she was pinned between a car and a van.
The club released a three-second security camera video showing a group of people trying to jump out of the way of a car driving toward them. One person appears to take out a gun before being hit by the car. Police said a 26-year-old female security officer shot Anderson. Another security officer, a 30-year-old man, also shot at Anderson’s vehicle, police said. Police did not name either of the security officers or say if they have been charged with a crime, but they detained a security guardThe shooting at a XTC, which has a history of violence, including murder, comes at a time whenover restrictions on what hours sexually oriented businesses may be open.
