A full-scale search is expected to recommence at first light on Sunday for an 18-year-old swimmer who went missing in waters off Freshwater Beach in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
The teen was swimming with two friends at the popular beach near Manly on Saturday night when he failed to return to shore.
Emergency services were called to the beach at around 8:15pm and a search operation involving the Toll Ambulance Rescue Helicopter, a police helicopter and a police was commenced. The man could not be located and the search was called off, however it is set to resume at first light on Sunday.A search will continue on Sunday for a teen missing in waters off Freshwater Beach on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
