Garland police still haven't found Abel Acosta, the 14-year-old who is accused of killing three other teens at a gas station in December. They've turned to federal authorities for help.
RELATED:17-year-old Rafael Garcia and 16-year-old Ivan Noyola went to the gas station together and were both killed. Prior to the shooting, investigators say at least one of them reported back in November that they were shot at by a group of teens who Acosta associates with.
Garland police say they are still utilizing all possible resources, including the U.S. Marshals who specialize in tracking down fugitives. A special task force assigned to the case is following up on leads and tips. But so far, police say all have been too broad.
