Sean 'Diddy' Combs and his legal team proposed a new $50 million bail package as he awaits his May 2025 trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges

According to the Associated Press, Diddy, 54, filed a new request on Friday, November 8, claiming that because of changed circumstances and new evidence, he should be allowed to prepare for his May 2025 trial from outside of Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center, where he has been behind bars since his September arrest. The new filing serves as his fourth request. He has been denied bail multiple times.
He would also not have access to the internet or phone, and asked for a pre-approved visitor list of select family members. Additionally, the filing said Diddy would surrender passports belonging to him and his family members, per USA Today. In the wake of the case, several individuals came forward with sexual assault lawsuits of their own against the rapper, eventually leading Homeland Security to raid Diddy’s homes in Miami and Los Angeles in connection to a sex trafficking investigation.
