Senate President Godswill Akpabio met with President Bola Tinubu at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
Akpabio, while addressing State House Correspondents after closed-door talks with the President stressed that there is unity and maturity within the Nigerian Senate, even amidst disagreements.
Recall that the Senate had a rowdy session on Tuesday when Ndume raised a point of order to draw the Senate President’s attention to alleged procedural errors he committed. But, Akpabio swiftly ruled him out of order, saying it could not be revisited since he had ruled on issues raised. Akpabio further explained that any arising disagreements are swiftly handled in closed sessions, ensuring unity and solidarity are maintained.
