ESPN's Scott Van Pelt has lost his voice, and he is unfortunately going to be sitting out the Oct. 9 'Monday Night Football' pregame broadcast between the Green Bay Packers and Las Vegas Raiders.
"So, we played another fun edition of will Scott’s voice quit before the show ends last night. Unfortunately, I woke up to zero voice at all. Just gone. As a result, no trip to Vegas for Monday Night Countdown orJust seconds later, prominent sports media reporter Andrew Marchand of The New York Post attempted to break the news of Van Pelt's absence on the"Monday Night Football broadcast.
Van Pelt replied by recognizing him and his team's effort to help him, and thanked Marchand for his concern.
