Six-time IndyCar champion Scott Dixon added to his legacy after winning his fifth Indianapolis 500 pole position with a record-breaking time trial.
The Indianapolis 500 is set for next Sunday, May 29, at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Leigh Diffey , Townsend Bell and James Hinchcliffe will call the race after lengthy pre-race coverage from Mike Tirico, Danica Patrick and Dale Earnhardt Jr., which begins at 11 a.m. ET.
