Apple TV+ has a new sci-fi series ready to launch in Silo, a TV adaptation of a series of post-apocalyptic books by Hugh Howey. Silo tells the story of the last ten thousand people on Earth, who live in an underground sanctuary for protection from the toxic world outside. The series stars Rebecca Ferguson in the leading role of Juliette, and has a supporting cast that includes Tim Robbins, Will Patton, and Common.
The gripping musical score for Silo was written by Icelandic composer Atli Örvarsson. Örvarsson’s film and television work is extensive and genre-spanning; the composer has contributed score to complement the songs of Eurovision Song Contest, and has written music for over 200 episodes of Chicago Fire.
