Schitt's Creek's future chances get an optimistic response from star Eugene Levy, who also co-created the sitcom along with his son, Daniel Levy.

Schitt's Creek's future chances at a revival get an optimistic response from Eugene Levy. Levy starred in the Canadian-American sitcom alongside longtime collaborator Catherine O'Hara, his son, Dan Levy, and Annie Murphy. The show, which Eugene and Dan also co-created and produced, received widespread praise and multiple Emmys throughout its run from 2015 to 2020.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY In an interview with RadioTimes, the elder Levy discusses the possibilities for a revival of Schitt's Creek. Levy characterizes it as a "never say never" situation, and says that they've never stopped thinking about Schitt's Creek, a show whose finale saw the actors shedding real tears during their final scenes.

I know my son Daniel has said this, we'd love to get together with these people again and take the show and the characters to yet another level. There's nothing in the works right now to be honest, but you know, we've never stopped thinking about what might happen down the line. We're certainly open to anything, I think when the idea that is the right idea presents itself we'll probably act on, I guess.

While the father-son Levy combination technically co-created Schitt's Creek, the idea for the show was Dan Levy's, and he was also a huge part of what made the show great behind the camera, contributing 26 writing credits across the show's 80-episode run.

There are many ways that the Schitt's Creek characters could be reunited, such as the celebration of a major expansion for Johnny and Stevie's motel business. It could see the possible reunion of Alexis and Ted, who could finally be in the right place at the right time for each other. It could even be the happy couple, David and Patrick, welcoming a baby into the Rose family, a subject which the two touched on during season 6.
