A scheduled water supply interruption (SWSI) is expected to affect approximately 97,000 account holders in Seberang Perai Tengah (SPT) and Seberang Perai Selatan (SPS) for 24 hours, starting at 10 PM on October 4th. The disruption is due to the closure of a 1.2m diameter valve in a treated water pipeline near Politeknik Seberang Perai (PSP) in Permatang Pauh to facilitate pipeline repair work.

“Antara kawasan yang terjejas di SPT iaitu di Kuala Juru, Taman Mengkudu, Juru Heights, Taman Cendana, Taman Cendana Indah, Taman Seri Cendana, Taman Cendana Emas dan Taman Cendana Permai. “Oleh yang demikian, seluruh pengguna yang terkesan dinasihatkan supaya menyimpan bekalan air secukupnya untuk tempoh 24 jam sepanjang tempoh gangguan bekalan.
