Receiver Kian Schaffer\u002DBaker is enjoying another solid season with the Roughriders.
revealed a full head of hair while removing his helmet on the sideline after a 44-yard touchdown reception during the Saskatchewan Roughriders’ 41-20 win over the visiting Montreal Alouettes on Saturday.
“Kian is just a phenomenal athlete and when you put the ball in his hands good things happen,” said Riders head coach Craig Dickenson. “ “I will always believe that I should have been the No. 1 pick,” said Schaffer-Baker, 24. “I know there are critics about where I fell to in the draft, but I know my worth and my capabilities. I’m going to continue to show that every day.”
“He’s becoming a pro,” Moore said. “Last year, he was fresh out of college and he was doing some immature things. This year, he’s taken another step toward being a leader. He’s going to be one of those leaders who knows every position and works hard every day.”has the aforementioned 226 receiving yards, but it’s after the catch when he’s at his best. This season, he already has a league-high 122 yards after the catch. In 2021, he was ninth in the CFL with 231 yards.
