Temperatures will stay mild through the day Wednesday, but wind and humidity will build as storms move in,Wednesday is expected to be cloudy and windy with a 30% chance of rain between 6 p.m. and midnight. Winds from the south will reach 20 to 25 mph,The best chance for rain will be Thursday morning right at daybreak. There’s a 70% chance of rain around 5 a.m., which will drop to 20% by 10 a.m.

Between a quarter of an inch to half an inch of rain is expected in areas north of Denton and in the southeast, near Corsicana. A cold front from the northwest will arrive about 6 a.m. Thursday, according to NBC5. After the morning storms, the day will be dry and blustery, Mitchell said.
