The Department of Public Works and Highways is seeking the assistance of the Supreme Court to address the right of way roadblocks that have caused delays in the completion of a segment of the P35.7-billion Cavite Laguna Expressway .
Currently, the Silang Interchange is at 64.8 percent completion rate. One critical portion of the expressway lacks a parcel of land roughly 450 meters long which prevents the company from opening another section of the Calax. He was referring to the P5-million initial payment based on the rough estimate the agency’s engineers conducted as stipulated in Republic Act 10752 or the Road Right of Way Act.
