Walker trains out of SBG under the tutelage of Conor McGregor's coach John Kavanagh.
Johnny Walker and Magomed Ankalaev’s UFC 294 fight ended in controversy as the pair tried to fight each other after the bout was bizarrely stopped.
The doctor then quizzed Walker about what round the fight was in and what country the fight he was competing in. It was unclear if Walker was concussed or he didn’t understand what the doctor asked him, as the Brazilian didn’t reply to either of the questions. The doctor then told Movahedi: “He is not good to continue” and the fight was waved off.
No winner was declared as the official decision as declared a no-contest because of the illegal knee from Ankalev, which left Walker unable to continue. Ankalaev then pushed Walker after the decision was read out by Bruce Buffer and White reassured Walker they would figure out the confusion backstage.
