The city is celebrating Cameron Recreation Complex Aug. 17.
Burnaby's 44-year-old Cameron Library and Recreation Centre is nearing the end of its days, and the city is throwing a farewell party.
The event will host community exhibits, food trucks, free activities and fitness demonstrations Saturday, Aug. 17 starting at 10 a.m.The Cameron complex will close the next day on Sunday, Aug. 18 and re-open at the temporary Lougheed mall location, where the library has already made its home the past three months, on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
