On November 6, the 17-year-old actor posted a selfie to his account in which his beloved curls are cropped above his ear — not a sight his fans are accustomed to. He aptly captioned the post, "BuzzFeed is going to make an article about this. OK go."
Clearly, he's right about that, because though we're not BuzzFeed, here we are, freaking out like the rest of the Internet. Much like the first time he got a drastic haircut, the actor's reveal is gaining traction— in less than an hour, almost half a million people have liked the post, and more than 7,500 have left comments. The consensus? It's mixed, given this guy's big and beloved curls. "Long hair stans how we feelin," writes one commenter.
Whether this cut is specifically for a role or just for funsies has yet to be determined, but also doesn't really matter 'cause those curls arefans are going to need a moment of silence; this is the shortest anyone has seen his hair since he came to fame in the first season of the show — and he was onlyback then.
