In a project led by Save the Children Philippines in partnership with the European Union Humanitarian Aid (ECHO), over 18,000 children received education and child protection support in several areas in Mindanao.
Project SINDAO, a two-year funded project designed to aid vulnerable children subject to conflicts, displacements, and gender-based violence in Maguindanao Province, Lanao Del Sur, and Surigao Del Sur, yielded positive results.
According to data released by Save the Children Philippines, more than 93% of participating students suffering from interrupted learning were able to improve their skills.
