NSTnation Saudi gov't to grant 300 scholarships to Malaysian grads
This was the outcome of a meeting between Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik and the Saudi Arabian government on Monday.
The meeting was held to discuss issues affecting both Malaysia and Saudi Arabia, including those pertaining to education. “As a result of this meeting, the Saudi government has agreed to grant 300 scholarships to Malaysian graduates in the fields of science and technology. “Also agreed upon in the meeting was a transfer programme for Saudi teachers to Malaysia, who will be trained to prepare their education system to embrace 21st century education,” said the ministry.
