A high value individual was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Banago in Bacolod City on Friday, March 17.
Police Major Armilyn Vargas, head of Police Station 3, identified the subject as Elmer Laruan, 43, of Barangay Banago.
Confiscated from Laruan were 70 grams of suspected shabu worth P476,000, the P200 marked money, an improvised glass tooter, and P10,330 cash. Vargas said that Laruan has a sari-sari store, which they believed is being used as a front in his alleged illegal drug trade. Vargas said that Laruan was previously charged for frustrated parricide.
