She made waves when she became the top three finalists for the Commonwealth Song Contest last year with her track, is a cry to conserve culture, tradition, and the environment inspired by the urgency she felt to take part in caring for the earth. The thesis sparked her desire to connect with her cultural roots in Sarawak and the traditions and land of her ancestors.
Belle always does ‘extensive’ research when creating a new song, listening to her favourite composers and fellow artists before getting feedback from her mum.
