KUCHING: Pelaksanaan modul Penghayatan Hadis 40 Imam Nawawi tidak menjadi masalah, sekiranya hanya melibatkan sekolah pelajar Islam di bawah Kementerian Pendidikan.
“Jadi, sekiranya pelajar bukan Islam mahu menambah ilmu dengan mengikuti pelajaran hadis tersebut, saya tiada masalah. Tetapi bukan secara wajib. Tambah Roland lagi, jika sebelum ini pelajar Islam di Sarawak yang bersekolah di sekolah mubaligh juga mempelajari kitab Bible, malah perkara itu tidak menjadi satu isu.
“Kita di Sarawak juga sangat terbuka, lihat sendiri bagaimana Premier Sarawak yang beragama Islam, tetapi dalam hal peruntukan beliau tidak meninggalkan agama-agama lain, malah turut memberikan dana untuk gereja dan kuil yang ada negeri ini,“ tegasnya.
