KUCHING, Aug 27Selangau MP Baru Bian today urged his Parti Sarawak Bersatu to recruit more Malays for a more balanced racial representation.
“Of these, 20.9 per cent are aged 18-20 and 45.2 per cent are between 21-29,” he said, adding the under-30 group makes up some 66 per cent of voters in Sarawak. He also called on the party to focus on women voters, claiming they are “more likely to turn up at polling stations to vote” and have a strong household influence on political matters.
