KUCHING: Electricity bills issued by Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB) in June will reflect adjustments for actual electricity consumption.
With the resumption of meter reading services this month, SEB retail general manager Ng Shou Fui said bills for June would show the actual consumption after three months of estimated readings during the movement control order period.
After actual meter readings were taken in June, the bill amount included the under-estimated amounts billed in March, April and May, resulting in higher bills for June. “Many householders were at home, fully utilising electrical appliances such as air-conditioners, the television or even the oven," said Ng in a statement Wednesday .
