Sarawak economy not significantly affected by virus, says CM
Sarawak Chief Minister Abang Johari Openg says the state's economy has not been affected much by the outbreak of Covid-19. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, February 19, 2020.He said unlike Peninsular Malaysia where the services sector, including tourism, has been affected owing to its major contribution to the economy, the situation in Sarawak is different as the sector’s contribution to the state’s gross domestic product is not huge.
