Sarawak church association denounces Christchurch terror attack

Association of Churches in Sarawak says that every human being is entitled to equal rights and religious freedom, and that 'life is inalienable and regarded as the most fundamental of all human rights under the Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1948, which must be upheld and observed by all nations of the world'. – EPA pic, March 17, 2019.

STRONGLY denouncing Friday’s terror attack on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, the Association of Churches in Sarawak has appealed for “long-lasting peace, unity, and harmony”. “The victims are innocent and defenceless people who were exercising their religious rights and duty during Friday prayers at the time of the shooting. ACS denounces the senseless attack in the strongest possible terms,” said the association.
