Menteri Kewangan Lim Guan Eng pada majlis makan malam anjuran DAP Sarawak di Kuching malam tadi.
Lim berkata, dengan belanjawan tahunan sebanyak RM11 bilion, rizab RM30 bilion Sarawak akan kering dalam masa 3 tahun. Katanya, Sarawak juga boleh menaikkan cukai jualan ke atas produk petroleum berdasarkan perlembagaan negeri. “Mereka terpaksa meminjam wang daripada kerajaan persekutuan bagi membayar gaji kakitangan dan saya melulusakan RM20 juta untuk tujuan itu,” kata setiausaha agung DAP itu.
