KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah government's statements about the Papar dam and the Tanjung Aru Eco Development project are a"huge disappointment" for the people of Sabah, says the Sabah Progressive Party .said the announcement made by Infrastructure Development Minister Datuk Peter Anthony on Tuesday raised great concerns among Sabahans.

He said prior to this, various ministers including Agriculture and Food Industries Minister Datuk Junz Wong and Tourism, Cultural and Environment Minister Datuk Christina Liew had promised that the TAED project would be scrapped once they formed the government. "They owe Sabahans an explanation and an apology for misleading the people on false hopes," Yong said, adding that it was a mistake to ignore public outcry.
