The headquarters of the Sea Region 2 (Mawilla 2) will not move from Sandakan. In fact, allocations to build the new Mawilla 2 headquarters here is ready and the construction of homes for personnel have been approved.

Commander Vice Admiral Datuk Sabri Zali said it applied for land to build the base since 2019.However, it’s been three years now and there is still no approval for the transfer of the state property to the Federal Government.
