SANDAKAN: The early voting process for policemen in the Sandakan by-election is proceeding smoothly Tuesday (May 7) morning.
Polling started at 8am at the Marine Police Force senior officers mess and Sandakan police headquarters clubhouse.
Civic duty: Police Marine Corporal Siti Hadiah Maria shows her ink-stained finger after early voting for the Sandakan by-election at the Police Marine Base – The Star/ZULAZHAR SHEBLEEEC secretary Datuk Mohamed Elias Abu Bakar visited the two voting centres, accompanied by Sabah EC director Rohiman Rahia and returning officer Mohd Hamsan Awang Supain.Independent candidate Hamzah Abdullah was amongst the first seen visiting the centre at the clubhouse.
DAP candidate Vivian Wong and Parti Bersatu Sabah candidate Datuk Linda Tsen are scheduled to drop by later.
