San Jose police released footage of a black vehicle Monday that they say is responsible for a March hit-and-run collision that left a woman with major injuries.

Police say the collision happened March 18 around 12:40 a.m. on Park Avenue, just west of Barack Obama Boulevard. A woman on a bicycle was hit from behind and dragged by the vehicle for about 400 feet, causing major injuries that led to a hospital stay.
On Monday, police released video of what they believe to be the suspect vehicle driving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle appears on the footage to be a black SUV or crossover sedan. No license plate is clearly visible.
