A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in the area of McKee Road and Jackson Avenue in East San Jose on Monday morning, according to authorities.
SAN JOSE — A person died Monday morning after being hit by a vehicle in the area of McKee Road and Jackson Avenue, near Regional Medical Center in East San Jose, police said.
Authorities confirmed the collision in a tweet just before 9 a.m. The crash was reported to police at 8:04 a.m. The victim, a pedestrian, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. There were no additional details provided. Units are currently on scene of a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian in the area of Mckee Rd and Jackson Ave. The adult male pedestrian suffered life threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene.
