The San Francisco Police Department arrested a fellow technology executive in connection with the stabbing of Cash App founder Bob Lee, police said.

The man, arrested early on Thursday, was also previously known to Lee, multiple police sources told Mission Local. He was arrested outside the city's borders. According to the arrest warrant, obtained by the outlet, the man's name was Nima Momeni. His name and description match that of the owner of Expand IT since 2010.The murder of Lee was described to Mission Local as “neither a robbery attempt nor a random attack.

Momeni describes himself as"a dedicated technology partner since 2005, supporting a variety of client vertical markets in Healthcare, Finance, High Tech/Startup, Technology, Manufacturing and Service sectors," his LinkedIn description reads. Expand IT markets itself as"providing technical support and fulfillment solutions at scale to startups, SMEs, public sector, and nonprofit organizations. Our approach is designed to deliver the power of a fully staffed and experienced IT department at a fraction of the cost of managing it in-house."Lee was stabbed to death in the early morning hours of April 4.
