170 San Diego politicians, business owners and leaders are in the nation's capital for two days of meetings and networking opportunities.
San Diego's representatives met with federal leaders in the nation's capital to fund the city's major infrastructure projects, NBC 7's Priya Sridhar reports.
"When we’re sitting there with them and explain to their colleagues: This is what this really means, this is what it means to have a four-hour-plus-long wait at the border, this is what it means to have a small business that is dependent on open beaches in south San Diego County when beaches are closed so often due to cross-border pollution.
