Donovan Mass carries himself a little lighter, heading into the tail end of summer. He admits he is a little burnt out on the video game NBA 2K, despite his excitement for the latest edition releasing in early September.

“Chemistry, getting to know each other well on and off the sticks, and being able to vibe with each other is all very important,” Donovan said. Even more impressive is Donovan’s dedication to the esport while stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. Donovan joined the military after scholarships didn’t work out. While his parents did not serve, he has siblings in various branches of the military. His leadership at Lackland only requires that gaming does not supersede his job duties in the military.
