The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 has been in the rumour mills for a while and now, the next-gen foldable clamshell smartphone has been spotted passing FCC certifica
tion. This also reveals some of its key specs, which include the largest battery size in the series so far.
As reported by MySmartPrice, the Galaxy Z Flip6 carries the model number SM-F741U and the device will have dual-cell batteries, which is standard for clamshell-style foldable smartphones. The dual-cell batteries have the model numbers EB-BF741ABY and EB-BF742ABY respectively. Together, both batteries make up to a 3887mAh-rated cell, which is expected to be marketed as a 4000mAh battery. The battery size itself is 8.3 per cent larger than the Galaxy Z Flip5.
Other key specs revealed by the listing are WiFi 6E, NFC, WiFi 2.24GHz, 5GHz and more. It’s also expected to feature an overclocked Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
