The device arrives with a special design and exclusive services ahead of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024.The South Korean tech giant featured the iconic Olympic rings and Paralympic agitos in gold on the new special edition variant. But putting aside the design, it has identical hardware to the standard Galaxy Z Flip 6.
The Olympians and Paralympians get access to Athlete 365, 6 Olympic Shop, Paris 2024, Transport Accred App, and IOC hotline. Every Galaxy Z Flip 6 Olympic Edition gets an eSIM with 100GB of 5G data in partnership with Orange and two years of international warranty. The athletes can use the latest flip phone for wireless payments via Samsung Wallet.
While you can’t purchase them, the special version of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be showcased at the Olympic rendezvous at Samsung showcases. The IOC and IPC have also collaborated with the brand to give these devices to the athletes.
